weight loss goals for 2-26-2010

Goal: I was up two last week (did NOT have a good last week - too many excuses and not enough exercise). This week I maintained. My goal for this week would be to lose the weight I gained last week. This seems to be a slow process for me --- I apparently need to step it up! Good luck to everyone this week....I hope we all do very well :)

I am up a little well .6 but after I got back from my trip I was up 3 # but was able to lose it this week. my goal this week is to get down to 155.5 which would be about 2# lose this week. I also will go to the gym 3 times this week.

goals for the Week 2-05-2010

My goals is to make it to the gym 3 days this week. I only made it to the gym 1 time last week and I want that to change!! So I think I am going to make a deal with Jacob and if I don't go I will have to pay him $5.00. I can feel that my toning is just not as good lately!! weight goal is to get to 155.

Goals for the Week 1-22-2010

I have a goal to get back to 155 again!! This whole moving thing is not getting me to be good or I guess that is my excuse. The weather has been hard for me to get out of bed so I really need to make a workout goal of 3 days this week!! Hope you all have a great week. We are traveling back to Utah which will be another 1400 miles in 3 days and about 28 hours of sitting in the car!! Not good for my diet!!

My goal for next week is 1.5 pounds and work out 4 times (45 min each time). This week was a challenge for me because I had a 4 day vacation, but I worked really hard when I got back into town and had an overall loss....whoo hoo! I'm excited :)

148 did not meet my goal to get to the gym. Can't seem to force myself to go there as I hate that place. I guess my goal is to find my exercise videos and start at exercising at home. I am having such a hard time getting motivated and started.

Okay, well, today I'm 174.2 and my goal by next Friday is 171. That's a lot for a week, but I only lost 1.6 last week and I'm on a schedule!

So my new goal since I'm going to go past my other goal is to be 175
before we move and to lose another two pounds by the end of the week
man I feel so good I finally got ride of all my huge clothes except
for one pair just to see what look like before and i will never go
back to that again. I'm finally back to my tens again after four years
and I feel wonderful. I was a size sixteen five months ago, I would
sweat everytime I would walk upstairs and down. Thank you for all the
support that I have received and I'm going to continue losing the
weight 32.8pounds and counting!!!!!!

Well because of the weather we never rode our bikes and because just being lazy and tired by the end of the day I never even made it to the gym. But I did meet one of my goals I wanted to lose 2lbs. Well I did better then that. I lost 3.2lbs this week. I am really surprised because I ate at In-an-out and had a burger and soda. Bad Vicki but that is fine. I am allowed. No one is stopping me and I won't be arrested for eating out.

Well next week my son is having surgery so I am flying down south and staying on base for 5 days, so next week is not going to be all that great, but that is ok I will try, the base is not good for places to eat so when I do I will just have to pay attention and make good healthy choices. So wish us luck. Tim with his surgery and me with my weight.

Tonight is dinner out with friends at Johnny Carinos who knows what I will have but I will be smart cuz I have to be down 20 by my Birthday.

Foods I eat!!

I have been asked this question a lot latley and work and on our group!! I am a person that can eat the same thing over and over and over again so I am not sure what I do will work for most people. I know it really works for me if I really stick to it. this is my normal thing I do everyday specialy on work days which makes it so much better!!

early morning before I go to the gym I have half a double fiber muffin with peanut butter on it.

before I leave for work I have a bowl of fiber one cereal with non fat milk.

a.m. snack I have either 2 big squares cinnamon graham crackers or 1 oz. of peanuts or 1 oz. of almonds

for lunch I have a sandwich ( the bread is really important if you don't use the right bread you can really mess with your calories I use natures own white bread it is high in fiber and tastes great only 90 calories for the 2 pieces) Then I have a lunch meat any kind of turkey, roast beef or ham. No mayo but mustard is ok. Sometimes I have a PPJ too!! I have baked chips 1 oz. and hostess 100 cupcakes they are very high in fiber as well.

Dinner I almost always eat a Healthy ones tv dinner. I find this works well for me even if they are eating something that is ok because I don't go back for seconds. It is already portioned out for me which really works for me and you get a little apple dessert that I love!!

for dessert I have a weight watchers Ice cream bar they are good and if you look at them all some are very high in fiber too!!

A couple other things I eat are:

Red pepper Hummus I love it!!
mint patties the really small ones to cut the sugar craving
Double fiber english muffins instead of cereal when I don't go work out!!
Grilled cheese sandwich with spray butter!!
roast beef sandwich with lettuce tomato and american cheese
homemade egg mc muffin
progresso soup light

When eating out I also eat
Subway
Panera bread ( soups and 1/2 sandwich)
taco bell fresco style has a lot of great options
Chipotle ( rice bowls are not bad)

I know I eat more than this but I just can't think for more things so I will keep making a list and add another post when I think of more items!! I hope this helps someone!!

My goal is to go to the gym 3 days this week. I didn't make my normal 3 days last week due to our trip and probably a bunch of excuses!! Anyway I also Have a goal to lose 1#!!

Well I meet 2 out of 3 of my goals this week. I went to the gym 2 days and worked out at home 2 days. I am very sore and still getting use to what really works for me. The other goal is I did not eat any fast food or even have any soda, and for that I am so happy. But the 2lbs did not happen even though it was week 2 and things were changing I did not loose the 2. Well really I did but it was only .2 see the point hey I am OK with that this is a life change not a race. Even though I want a 20lb lose by March 17.

So how did all of you do? And what helped get you threw your week? ANd what type of food did you make for your family. Debbie put alot of time into this blog lets go ladies lets hear about it. Sorry, I know I am the new girl on the block but just trying to get feedback on ideas. Good luck this next week and lets see what happens.

Goals for next week 1.5lbs. Try to ride my bike with my husband at least two days. And meet him at the gym before he comes home from work at least once. Depending on his work schedule. So lets do it. Hope you all have a great week.

Weekly Goals!!

My new goal is to lose another two pounds next week so that I will be at 184 by the end of the week

My goals this week are to stay at 154.6 I would really like to make 154 but with going out of town for 3 days I am trying to be realistic. I made my goal this week by going to the gym 3 times. Richard said he will help me eat healthy like at subway and taco bell.

WOW I am so excited! This being my first week I knew there would be a weight loss, your first week you always do. I have not started to exercise yet, but that is a goal for next week. Yesterday was my 26th Wedding Anniversary and I went out of town to see my husband who is going to school for work. So. did great at dinner went to Apple Bee's had one of their 550 calorie dinners and then we split desert. Had a great time eating right together. LOL Woke up this morning and found that I had forgot to bring the scale with me. So did not get the morning weight in. But thats OK. I did stop by McDonalds on the way home and had a egg mcmuffinand added sausage and only ate one side of the muffin. Not to bad. Then made a few other stops and finally home for my 12:30 weigh in. Here goes. 198.8 on Monday and today~~~~~~~~~194.6 Woot Woot way to go. Only two stops to fast food this week and goal next week not one. So glad my husband is on board with me and is willing to start our new life together. We both need it. Goals next week. Excersice 3 days Not one fast food stop And weigh in at 192 Thanks to all for being part of my new life. And hope you all had a great week. Rember when things get bad just to to the blog and re-read from the beginning. It works.

I had an AWESOME week....I already feel a difference in my energy levels just from eating right and exercising :) I lost exactly one pound since Monday (209 lb). I want to set a personal goal of 3 pounds for this week. I'm hoping for a big number next week :)

I love it another Goal!!

I am so glad the holidays are over! I am back up to 150 and very disappointed in myself. My first goal will be to loose ten pounds then I will re-evaluate. If I set my goal for a weight I really should be I will be overwhelmed and doomed to failure; so I will set my first goal for ten pounds. Wish me luck!

Another Goal!!

OK Well here goes, I thought about this long and hard. Debbie and I have been dealing with weight issues for years. We would go to lunch every week and eat very well and heaven forbid lunch without desert oh yea. And boy was it good. When she started weight watchers a few years ago I thought ok lets do it. So I did , and it was great I lost 36 pounds, my husband 63 pounds. Great Right? Well then things changed, had some family issues. My son the Marine went off to war, and too many other stupid excuses and guess WHAT yep you guessed it! It all came back and then a few pounds more. WOW I am now staring at a scale that reads 198.8 OH MY GOSH what happened. I have played with the 190s for months. 198 one day and then 194 then 192 then 197 OMG. Well you know what, I am done playing, because this playing hurts. I have bad feet and have had five surgeries ( not because of the weight but it makes them hurt more now) My back is sore alot more and I am tired and you know I am going to have grandchildren someday and I want to be around to play with them and watch them grow up. This is one of the last things as parents that we want to be here for. So I need to take this seriosly and try to make this happen. My son is getting married in june of 2011 and I really would love to be 155-160. I am not going to be unreasonable and say 140 LOL even though that would be nice, but I want this goal to be very reachable. My short time goal is at least 1 1/2 a week. I have a hard time with working out because of my foot, and I am getting ready for one more surgery, but i think I can do the small goal. And I am going to try real hard. This is the one thing that I loved about weight watchers was being accountable to someone else besides my loving husband, who loves me anyway I am. So he says. LOL LOL LOL

So ladies I commend you on all your goals and hard work, and to Debbie who is reaching out (like she always does) to get the support she needs and to help us with ours. So ladies lets DO THIS. WATCH OUT BIGGEST LOSERS HERE WE COME. ITS THE DEBBIE BERGADE. Thank you Debbie, I will miss you and always remember the last sixteen years have been wonderful but the next are going to be better.

New goals and weights

I will go first I want to be back to 150 by the beginning of March I also am going to work on cardio at the gym 3-4 times a week for at least 45 minutes each session. My problem is not so much the scale as it is that I need to tone
up more. lose a few inches. Today I weighed 156.2 I never like being higher then 155.

Ok so I was 192 on the 1st and must have been bad all weekend cuz today I was 194! YIKES. I am back to soup for lunch and will STOP eating the snacks at home. I also started an ab workout today at home. 15 min was enough! I will do 15-30 min M-F. Karen and I hope to power walk on Friday after we finish our Bunko prep. I hope to be back to 190 by Fri.

The last time I weighed myself (I think sometime in November????) I was at 203 lbs and was really scared to step on the scale after the holidays because my clothes were getting tight and I knew I had probably gained more weight. So I sucked it up and weighed in this morning at 210. So that's my starting weight. It feels so weird sharing this with anyone because it's something so personal to me...but I know it's for the best.

I know weigh-in is this Friday, but I wanted to get my starting weight before I starting the
calorie counting. I would like to lose 3 pounds by the first weigh-in this Friday. I'm totally on board with this and am very excited. Thanks for including me on this weight-loss blog. I know everyone is out to support each other and it's a great feeling to know that. I'm definitely stepping out of my shell, but it's time for a new me!
My long term goal is 150 pounds. I would like to reach my goal by June 25, which is one year before my wedding. It would be so wonderful to get this weight off and feel 100% better about myself as I am planning the wedding and finding my dream wedding dress :)

New Year

Happy New years!! Our group took the month of December off and have all decided to start off the new year fresh and ready for a new goal in our personal health. Each week we will post out weight and how much we lost with a goal for the week. We will see each week who the winner is and who met the personal goals they each set for themselves. I am excited to encourage and help change the lives of all the women in our group!!

Four years ago I went to the doctors office and for the first time I saw on the scale that I weighed over 200 pounds!! I know I had been heavier then that but just never saw it on the scale. This was in March by Oct that year I had lost 45 pounds and had a life changing experience. My personal life changed in so many ways. I was never unhappy and Ii loved the life I lived I didn't think loosing the weight would have changed my life so much!! I knew I had made it to where I wanted to be when my husband looked at me one night ( i will never forget this) and said Deb I feel like I am almost cheating on you with you. I can't hardly see the person you used to be. Now I don't take that as an insult but as a wonderful complement. Usually people who you live with don't see the change but I had changed so much he actually saw a whole different person!! There was one other time that I just couldn't see the difference in the mirror, I knew I had lost a lot and my sizes had changed so much so I knew I looked a lot better, I just couldn't see it, so my husband again surprised me and one day I went into the bathroom and there was a picture of my old self heavy but happy of course eating at my favorite restaurant. I asked him why this was taped on the mirror. He told me I want you to see the person you used to be and look at who you are so you can see there is a big difference.

I hope this group encourages you and helps keep you focused. I will start to post the long term goals and weekly goals as they start coming in. I am so excited bout this!!
